Born and raised in a sunny southern California beach community; forced to wear daily sunscreen and hats due to Irish, Scottish and Swedish ancestry.
Theatre became my safe haven as the 'quirky' kid who needed a place other than the beach to express her imaginative energy.
I spent my early childhood with Dr. Theresa Robbins Dudeck studying Keith Johnstone's teachings of improvisational theatre.
This training coupled with performing in local Musical Theatre plays in The Belasco Theatre Company; I then graduated into studying the Meisner method at E.M.A.S.- Elizabeth Mestnik Acting Studio.
I've had many mentors but one sentiment remains the same throughout my life of training; "stay in the moment."
This practice has now moved me to branch into the wonderful world of Film and TV.
When I am not performing, I work as a Behavior Therapist utilizing play based therapy for children on the autism spectrum. One can also find me binge watching a dramedy, exploring nature's finest with loved ones; and of course, forever fighting the everlasting battle between my chihuahua and a stuffed animal.
